We specialize in otolaryngology here at Northwest ENT and Allergy Center. We provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art ENT care for patients from across the metro Atlanta area. We routinely evaluate and treat Buckhead ENT patients of all ages for a wide range of conditions involving the ear, nose, throat, head and neck.

Dr. Shatul Parikh, an Atlanta native, received his undergraduate degree from Emory University, and completed his medical studies at Georgia Regents University in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Parikh returned to Emory University to complete his residency in Otolaryngology.
Dr. Parikh is a nationally recognized expert in minimally invasive thyroid/parathyroid surgery. Currently an instructor for the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Parikh teaches other surgeons advanced techniques in thyroid/parathyroid surgery. He is also experienced in all routine ENT procedures.
Dr. Parikh is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is also the medical director of Northwest ENT Surgery Center.
Dr. Avani Ingley grew up in Vidalia, Georgia, and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. She completed her medical studies and residency in Otolaryngology at Emory University in Atlanta. Additionally, she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, one of the nation’s most prestigious medical honor societies.
Dr. Ingley has experience in all routine ENT procedures with special interest in pediatric otolaryngology and nasal/sinus surgery. She is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
Originally from Brazil, Dr. Marcelo Antunes completed his residency in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. In addition, he completed a Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY, as well as ear surgery training in Switzerland. Dr. Antunes is well trained in all aspects of Otolaryngology ¬ Head & Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
In addition to performing cosmetic and reconstructive surgery on the face, he enjoys treating patients with a variety of problems such as nasal obstruction, sinus, allergy and ear conditions. He has extensive training in rhinoplasty, facelift, eyelid, reconstructive, sinus and ear procedures. During his residency, he trained and performed highly complicated procedures with the pioneer in sinus surgery in the United States. He is also well-versed in chronic ear infection and cochlear implant surgeries.
Dr Antunes is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Antunes also speaks Portuguese and Spanish.
