At Northwest ENT and Allergy Center we provide comprehensive ENT care and are available at five metro Atlanta locations including Buckhead/Atlanta, Marietta, Canton, Cartersville and Woodstock. Our physicians specialize in both the medical and surgical care of all ENT related diseases. Their commitment to providing compassionate patient care and utilizing state-of-the-art treatments and procedures ensures effective relief of your symptoms.

Our Mission:

Northwest ENT and Allergy Center offers excellence in the field of otolaryngology-head & neck surgery. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, responsible medical care and surgical treatment for disorders related to the ears, nose and throat. Drew M. Locandro, M.D.

    Dr Drew M. Locandro Photo

    Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Drew M. Locandro received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University. He attended Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey, where he specialized in otolaryngology and completed his residency at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York.

    Dr. Locandro has extensive experience with common ENT procedures and special expertise with nasal/sinus surgery, cosmetic nasal surgery, and advanced ear surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

Shatul L. Parikh, M.D.

    Dr. Shatul Parikh Photo
    Dr. Shatul Parikh, a native Atlantan, received his undergraduate degree from Emory University, and completed his medical studies at Georgia Regents University in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Parikh returned to Emory University to complete his residency in Otolaryngology. Dr. Parikh is a nationally recognized expert in minimally invasive thyroid/parathyroid surgery. Currently an instructor for the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Parikh teaches other surgeons advanced techniques in thyroid/parathyroid surgery. He is also experienced in all routine ENT procedures. Dr. Parikh is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is also the medical director of Northwest ENT Surgery Center.

Ryan M. Kauffman, M.D.

    Dr. Kauffman specializes in allergy, nasal surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, chronic ear surgery, and pediatric otolaryngology. He was born and raised in Carrollton, Georgia, received his undergraduate degree from the University of West Georgia, attended medical school at Vanderbilt University, and completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Avani P. Ingley, M.D.

    Dr. Avani Ingley grew up in Vidalia, Georgia, and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. She completed her medical studies and residency in Otolaryngology at Emory University in Atlanta. Additionally, she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, one of the nation’s most prestigious medical honor societies. Dr. Ingley has experience in all routine ENT procedures with special interest in pediatric otolaryngology and nasal/sinus surgery. She is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

Claudette L. Corey, NP

    Claudette L. Corey was raised in Ridgeland, MS. She attended Auburn University graduating summa cum laude with a degree in nursing. She then went on to work as a perioperative nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She received her Master’s degree in nursing at MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. Claudette is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Jeffrey A. D’Ambrosio, PA-C

    Jeffrey A. D’Ambrosio, PA-C earned his Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from Philadelphia University. After graduating with honors, he joined the university’s Physician Assistant Program and later received his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies, graduating in the top fifth percentile of his class. Jeff has over 11 years of experience in the field of Otolaryngology. He is also Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed by the state of Georgia by the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology. Jeff makes it a priority to translate the most advanced medical information to understandable terms for his patients. It is his goal to address all questions and concerns before a patient leaves the office, ensuring they’ve received the best care possible.

Bryan Stringham, D.O.

    Dr. Bryan Stringham Photo
    Dr. Bryan Stringham sees patients of all ages and is experienced with all general otolaryngology procedures. He is also trained in cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery.
    Dr. Stringham grew up in Boise, Idaho and completed his undergraduate studies at Boise State University and Idaho State University. He graduated from the founding osteopathic medical school, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Stringham completed his residency in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastics at Northeast Regional Medical Center. Dr. Stringham is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. He is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

Geralyn Drumheller, Au.D.

    Dr. Geralyn Drumheller, Director of Audiology, received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. She was awarded her Master of Education degree in Audiology from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and her doctorate in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Drumheller began her audiology career at the Lahey Clinic, outside of Boston, and became the Director of Audiology in 1987. She was appointed to the Board of Registration for Speech Pathology and Audiology for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and served as Chairperson. She expanded her hearing aid dispensing services by joining American Hearing Centers as Senior Audiologist in the greater Boston area, and continued with her relocation to the Atlanta area joining Atlanta Ear, Nose and Throat Associates. More recently, she was employed by a world leader in hearing aid manufacturing as Supervisor of Audiology and Customer Care here in Georgia. Dr. Drumheller is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and Past-President of the Georgia Academy of Audiology.

Cindy Weiss, M.S.

    Ms. Cindy Weiss received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from State University of Cortland in Cortland, NY and her Masters in Audiology from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Ms. Weiss has experience working in a hospital, private practice and ENT setting in New York and Georgia. She has worked with both pediatric and the geriatric population in her years of service. Ms. Weiss is passionate in providing superior hearing healthcare services and products to her patients and their families. She currently is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the Georgia Academy of Audiology.

    Dr. Wendy B. Cates is a Dallas, GA native. She has an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders from Tennessee State University and her Doctor of Audiology degree from East Tennessee State University. Dr. Cates has worked in hospitals and private practices, and her special interests include diagnostics and hearing aids. Her philosophy is to find the best solution for the individual hearing needs of her patient. She wants everyone she works with to have their hearing and listening needs met. Dr. Cates has her Clinical Certificate of Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a member of the Academy if Doctors of Audiology.

Leslie Beckham-Wright Au.D.

    Dr. Leslie Beckham-Wright is a native of Brewton, Alabama. She received her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Auburn University. She received her Master’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of South Alabama and her Doctorate of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. Dr. Beckham-Wright has worked in both hospital and ENT settings, serving both the pediatric and geriatric populations. She enjoys helping patients find the best solutions to meet their hearing healthcare needs through diagnostic testing and hearing aid assessments. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Georgia Academy of Audiology (GAA). She currently sees patients in the Piedmont and Marietta offices.

Katie Hylton Au.D.

    Audiologist Katie Hylton Photo
    Dr. Katie Hylton grew up in Cartersville, GA. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia and her Doctorate of Audiology from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. She spent her final year training at the University of Colorado hospital in Denver, where she gained skills in pediatric and adult hearing evaluations, hearing aids, cochlear implants and vestibular testing. Dr. Hylton currently has her Clinical Certificate of Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA CCC-A), is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the Georgia Academy of Audiology. She looks forward to helping her patients stay connected with their friends and family by having their hearing needs met.

Michael G. Payne - Practice Administrator

    Michael Payne Photo
    Our Practice Administrator, Michael G. Payne, is originally from Albany, NY, but spent his formidable years right here in Snellville, GA. After serving in the US Army as a Combat Medic for 20 years, he retired as a Sergeant First Class, with 3 combat tours.

    Just before his retirement, he completed his bachelor’s in healthcare management with Franklin University in 2007. In 2012, he went on to complete his MBA with Columbia College obtaining summa cum laude honors.

    Following his retirement from the Army, he has served in several medical practice leadership roles. Michael is an active member of the Association of Otolaryngology Administrators and Medical Group Management Association.

Adriana Clark – Front Office Manager

    Front Office Manager Adriana Clark Photo
    Adriana received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida and is an active member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, the oldest and largest collegiate honor society dedicated to the recognition and promotion of academic excellence in all disciplines. Prior to graduation, she completed an internship at the University of Florida's Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation. She also had the privilege of shadowing the department's physical therapists.

    Additionally, Adriana has experience working as both a front office associate and medical assistant in different specialties. Her combined education and background in healthcare brings a high level of customer service, problem solving skills and commitment to assisting patients and staff.

    In her spare time, she can be found with friends and family or cheering on the Florida Gators.

    Amanda Ratterree received her Associate’s degree of Applied Science in Medical Assisting from Lincoln Technical Institute. In a span of eight years, she has served as a front office associate, medical assistant, and surgery coordinator within the ENT field. This vast experience has prepared Amanda for her daily correspondence with Northwest ENT’s patients and their insurance companies – something she finds enjoyment in every day.

    Amanda truly loves getting to know the patients she assists and takes great pride in being a part of the overall process to help them feel better. Outside of work, she loves a good book and spending time with friends and family.
